To make negative statements about an individual for attempting to expand their profession (for example, an actor giving a try to musicianship) is the act of a fool, for the same logic would declare that because one started their working career cleaning grease receptacles at the local McDonalds, a fast food establishment is the only place they should ever be employed.
Perhaps instead of hating on one who succeeds in the pursuing of their dreams, the Cynic should instead look to the unfinished manuscript in their desk drawer.
