Inspiration has come in the form of Benh Zeitlin's film, Wendy, the follow-up to one of my all time favorites, Beasts of the Southern Wild. Zeitlin once again captures the magic that only children can dream up and spills it across the canvas of the screen, pairing it with yet another fantastic soundtrack by teaming up with Dan Romer. I cannot recommend enough both films and their soundtracks.
Inspiration comes from morning coffee walks through the back lot with our dog, Alice, as the world starts to wake and the birds start to sing.
Inspiration comes from yet another Andrew McMahon pandemic livestream performance, which we followed with the documentary, Dear Jack, telling the tale of Andrew's struggle with leukemia as his music career was just taking off.
Inspiration comes, of course, from Fiona Apple's amazing new release, Fetch The Bolt Cutters.
