About #Song4Unity #Song4Unity (http://www.facebook.com/song4unity) is a project designed to bring unity to our communities through music. Inspired by the events in Baltimore in April of 2015 and recognizing that musicians are the gatekeepers for our universal language of music which truly unifies us all, Sahffi Lynne started the project by gathering 15 Baltimore songwriters from multiple genres in the fall of 2015 to write a "#Song4Unity."

"Let's Make it Happen" (Baltimore #Song4Unity) is a result of over 50 people from all different walks of life coming together to create a song of love and unity for our community of Baltimore. ALL proceeds of the song when purchased on Bandcamp (http://www.song4unity.bandcamp.com) will go directly to #SaveADopeBoy (http://www.saveadopeboy.com), a grassroots organization in Baltimore founded by the late Derrick "OOH" Jones helping young men find and keep gainful employment, receive their GED, and be positive role models in their communities.

The project continues: A #Song4Unity Junior song has been written by the 6th graders at Catonsville Middle School, and musicians from Wilmington, DE, Nashville and New York City have expressed interest in writing their own #Song4Unity.

It's our hope our music helps open our collective minds and hearts to the larger awareness of UNITY.
